Bubba, our Chocolate Lab & resort dog has been struggling with walking for a couple of months, so after visiting 2 different vets, we ended up at the veterinary school. After a long day of testing the orthopedic vet determined that he has severe arthritis in his ankles and feet. We thought that he had torn the tendon over his knee and it had healed wrong, so we were very surprised to hear about the arthritis. Now he’s on numerous meds and still has difficultly getting around. We’re hoping that after 6 weeks on the medicine, he’ll feel better and want to walk more.
